Cumann Gaelach na hEaglaise Events in Dublin and Glendalough
Cumann Gaelach na hEaglaise (the Irish Guild of the Church) is organising two events in Dublin and Glendalough in the coming weeks.
In Dublin there will be a music workshop on “Hymns that you would like to hear in Irish” in the Church of Ireland College of Education, Rathmines, on November 14, starting at 6.30 pm.
There will be a spiritual tour to Glendalough on November 24. A bus will be leaving Dublin at 10.00 am with places available on a first come first served basis. There will be a guided tour of the monastic sites, followed by a service.

The Irish Guild of the Church was founded in 1914 to promote and preserve within the Church of Ireland the spirit of the ancient Celtic Church and to provide a bond of union for all members of the Church of Ireland inspired with Irish ideals. It also aims promote the use of the Irish language in the Church and collect from Irish sources suitable hymns and other devotional literature as well as encourage the use of Irish art and music in the Church.
