Tributes Paid As 3Rock’s Greg and Susie Move On
The oversight team for 3Rock Youth would like to thank Greg Fromholz and Susie Keegan for all the creative work they have done for youth ministry in the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough over the last decade. Both Greg and Susie are moving to new positions and the oversight team would like to take the opportunity to wish them every success in their new roles. Greg is now heading up the dioceses’ new Ministry to Young People.
Dublin and Glendalough Diocesan Councils last night paid tribute to Susie. On behalf of the 3Rock oversight team, Michael Webb told a crowd of well wishers that during her time with 3Rock Susie had grown in the role and said it had been a revelation to watch her development in the job.
He praised the way Susie had taken the role and made it her own and singled out her work in schools, which he said she entered into with great enthusiasm. Mr Webb added that all she did was grounded in faith and further praised her ability to see a need and react to it. He said that they were very sad to see her go.
Meanwhile, a review group which was initiated by Diocesan Councils in June, has begun its work and will be consulting with people throughout the dioceses to determine the next phase of youth ministry for the diocese.

The oversight team is exploring the possibility of running a Post–Confirmation weekend which has been planned for the end of November, and further details of this event will be made known to the Rectors in the dioceses early in October.
