Application Forms for Stands at Dublin and Glendalough Diocesan Synods 2014 Now Available
Applications for display stands at Dublin and Glendalough Diocesan Synods 2014 are now available from the Diocesan Office. Those interested in taking a stand this year are reminded that this year Synods will meet for just one evening. Application forms for stands must be received by the Diocesan Office by June 30 2014.
As per the protocol for allocation of stands at Synods, the responsibility for the allocation of stands will rest with the Honorary Secretaries of Diocesan Synods. As space is limited the initial allocation of stands will be to those committees or organisations whose activities are reported within the Book of Reports.
If, having allocated spaces to such bodies, further spaces are available, the following will then be considered: recognised Committees or organisations of the Church of Ireland and organisations whose work embraces the ethos of the Church of Ireland.
All of the above committees or organisations must make application for stands annually to the Diocesan Office by the due date, using the appropriate application form.
In the event of oversubscription, the final decision regarding allocation of Stands will rest with the Honorary Secretaries.
Committees or organisations who are allocated a stand, must man that stand and may disseminate information from that stand only. They may not share or allow another organisation to use the stand.
In respect of Diocesan Synods to be held on October 21 2014, applications for Display Stands must be submitted to the Diocesan Office by 30 June 2014. Applications received after that date will not be considered.
The Decision of the Honorary Secretaries regarding the allocation will be relayed to the relevant committee or organisation as soon as possible after the receipt of the application, but no later than one month prior to the date of the event.
