July Issue of The Church Review Out Now
The July edition of The Church Review is out now. Subscribers can pick up their copies of the diocesan magazine of Dublin and Glendalough this weekend.
As always the magazine is packed with news and information from all corners of the dioceses. In his column Canon Patrick Comerford writes about recalling World War I and the greatest deployment of armed forces in Irish history.
There’s a report on the Creating a Discipleship Culture event organised by the dioceses. There are also details and photos from Christ Church Cathedral’s Patronal service, a report on the continuing work of the Diocesan Ministry to Young Adults and a review of the first Ecumenical Bible Week.
From the parishes there is news of the dedication of restoration work at Nun’s Cross Church, Killiskey. St Doulagh’s annual open air service, the service at Monkstown which marked the 70th anniversary of the D–Day landings and the West Glendalough Children’s Choral Festival which took place this year in Athy.
As always there is a full roundup of news from Christ Church Cathedral and St Patrick’s Cathedral as well as from parishes throughout Dublin and Glendalough in the Parish Notes section.
