RSCM Announces Details of Autumn Events in Dublin
The Royal School of Church Music has a number of events planned for Autumn 2014. In Dublin a ‘Come and Sing: Fauré Requiem’ event is planned for St Bartholomew’s Church, on Sunday November 2 at 2.00 pm. Full details will be announced in due course on the RSCM website www.rscmireland.com.
Meanwhile, on Saturday November 8 at 2.00 pm ‘Lift Up Your Voice’, a course for churches with no musical leadership, will take place in Dublin (venue to be confirmed). Intended for lay and ordained leaders, this course offers simple, achievable music for use where there is no trained musical leadership, and insights for celebrating the church’s seasons creatively. Copiable resources are included in the cost, which is €12.50 per person. The event is directed by Mark Bowyer (pictured), RSCM coordinator for Ireland. See the RSCM website for booking details.
