Cathedral Remembers Those Who Suffered in First World War
A moving service of remembrance for those who suffered during World War One took place in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, yesterday evening (Thursday November 6).
The service featured an Act of Remembrance led by the cathedral’s Dean, the Very Revd Dermot Dunne, long with Residential Priest Vicar, the Revd Garth Bunting and Canon Robert Deane. First World War poetic interpolations were read by broadcaster Michael Lee.
Christ Church Cathedral Choir and Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Ian Keatley, gave a beautiful performance of Duruflé’s Requiem.
