Church of Ireland Healthcare Chaplain
Fixed Term with expected duration of three years
A full time Healthcare Chaplain is required to work in the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough. The post will be split between The Adelaide and Meath Hospitals and other healthcare facilities as allocated by the Archbishop of Dublin. The Chaplain will work with chaplaincy teams to provide ministry on behalf of the Church of Ireland in each of the allocated hospitals.
The ideal candidate should:
· Be an Accredited Healthcare Chaplain Recognised by the Chaplaincy Accreditation Board (CAB) or the Healthcare Chaplaincy Board (HCB)
· Have experience of working in an acute Healthcare setting
· Have experience in working in diverse Healthcare settings
· Have experience in Multi–Disciplinary Team working
· Be familiar with, uphold and respect, the ethos of the Church of Ireland
· Have experience of working with patients with diverse care needs
· Have proven interpersonal skills
· Have ability to work on own initiative
