Dublin and Glendalough 800 – Prayer for the United Dioceses

In 2016 we mark 800 years of the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough, the Archbishop would like to offer a prayer for use in church and private prayers.

DandG 800 Prayer

The prayer seeks to draw out some of the continuity of prayer and hope that we share as today’s Dublin and Glendalough.

It could be used as a supplementary post–Communion prayer; as a Vestry Prayer; or as a congregational prayer of mutual commissioning between people and clergy/Reader as all prepare to go from church into the world around us after a service.

The Archbishop hopes clergy and parishioners throughout Dublin and Glendalough will find it useful.

Further details of events to mark Dublin and Glendalough 800 will be available soon.

The prayer can be downloaded HERE and is available at the Resources section of the website HERE.
