About Mark Welsh

Mark (pictured) has previously served as a missionary in Nepal, as minister of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Greyabbey, Co. Down, and as Convener of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland’s Mission Involvement Committee.  Following a two–year spell as a Mission Mobiliser with the mission agency Interserve, Mark took up post as the Presbyterian Church’s Mission Development Officer in June 2015.

Mark is a great motivational speaker who has the ability to cause us to reflect on how we approach God’s mission to the world.  He’s passionate about seeing the local church fully engaged in God’s global mission.  He’s married to Caroline, has two grown–up children and relaxes by getting out on his bike.
