Beginning of Advent Marked in Christ Church and St Patrick’s
The beginning of Advent was marked in both St Patrick’s and Christ Church cathedrals with candlelit Advent Processions this afternoon (Sunday November 27).
In St Patrick’s Cathedral, A Sequence of Music and Readings for Advent was sung by the Cathedral Choir (Schola and Men’s Voices). Dean William Morton presided and the readings were delivered by Canon Horace McKinley.
In Christ Church Cathedral, Archbishop Michael Jackson presided with Dean Dermot Dunne. The service was sung by the Cathedral Choir.
