Anglican Oriental–Orthodox International Commission’s Dublin Meeting Continues
The Anglican Oriental–Orthodox International Commission continued their meeting in Dublin today (Wednesday October 25).
After continuing their deliberations this morning they travelled to St Maximus and St Domatius Coptic Church in Drumcondra for prayers in the Coptic tradition in the afternoon. The ceremony was attended by the members of the Commission and the Egyptian Ambassador to Ireland, HE Soha Gendi.
Hosted by Archbishop Michael Jackson, the Commission continues to meet until Friday. They are working to complete an agreed text on the Holy Spirit that will be linked with the mission of the Church. There will also be an initial exploration of areas around authority in the Church.
