Walking in the Wilderness with Jesus – A Short Lenten Reflection Friday March 19

Mark Acheson, a Diocesan Reader in Clontarf, provides today’s short reflection for Lent (Friday March 19).

Mark’s reflection is based on Matthew 1: 20–21 – An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.’

Join us every day during Lent for a thought for the day from our Diocesan Readers. Archbishop Michael Jackson gives the reflections on Sundays.

You can find them on this website, the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough YouTube channel (subscribe now so as not to miss a post) and will also be available on the Facebook page and Twitter.
