Worship from Home OR in Church This Weekend

Many parish churches will reopen for public worship this weekend, having been closed since Christmas. Please check locally what arrangements your parish has made with regard to reopening.

Guidance on restrictions currently in force for church attendance is available here.

Online Church

If you are unable to attend church in person this weekend, many parishes continue to offer worship online in the form of a livestreamed or pre–recorded service. Links to parishes are available in the directory below. (Please be aware that as we transition from online to in–person services there may be some inaccuracies – if the details relating to your parish are not correct please email dco@dublin.anglican.org to amend.)

Ascensiontide Series of Reflections and Hymns

Our Ascensiontide series of reflections and hymns continues until Pentecost on our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/TheUnitedDiocesesofDublinandGlendalough. The reflections come from Christ Church Cathedral and St Patrick’s Cathedral and are complemented by hymns sung by the cathedral choirs. Archbishop Michael Jackson provides the reflections on Sundays.

Welcome Back

If you are preparing to go back to church you may enjoy this video which features parishioners from Dublin & Glendalough sharing what they missed when churches were closed and what they look forward to going back to in–person worship. RTÉ’s Bryan Dobson also provides a reminder of what to do in church to ensure the safety of all.
