Light shone out in the darkness at Christ Church Cathedral’s Advent Procession on the First Sunday in Advent (November 28) marking the start of the new church year and the beginning of a time of anticipation as we look towards Christmas Day.

The dramatic candle lit service, which takes place on the first Sunday of Advent each year, offers an invitation to pause and reflect while being enfolded by seasonal music sung by the Cathedral Choir.

You can find information on Advent and Christmas services and events on the cathedral website.
