Bellringers’ society to be formed in St Audoen’s, Dublin

Bellringers’ society to be formed in St Audoen’s, Dublin
St Audoen’s Church, Cornmarket.

A society of bellringers of St Audoen’s, Dublin, will be inaugurated on Tuesday next, May 2.  If you are interested in joining, you’re welcome to come along to this initial meeting which will begin at 6.30pm and last until around 7.45pm. If time permits, there will be a short ring to mark the occasion!

The impetus for this is the 600th anniversary of three of the bells, which will be commemorated with a service and some celebratory ringing on Saturday August 26. A bellringer may belong to more than one society of this type so please do feel free to participate if you already have an interest elsewhere.

St Audoen’s Church, Cornmarket, Dublin 8, is accessible on foot through St Audoen’s Park.  Some spaces for parking may be found in the small streets between Francis Street and Patrick Street.
